House Republicans and right-wing media outlets are up in arms about a classified memo purportedly detailing misconduct related to the FBI’s investigation of the Trump campaign for possible collusion with Russia.
After reviewing it on Thursday, a number of Trump-supporting Republicans flooded the airwaves on Fox News. On Hannity, Reps. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Jim Jordan (R-OH) called for Mueller to be fired, with Gaetz characterizing the special counsel’s investigation as “a lie built on corruption” and akin to “a palace coup.” On Friday morning, Fox & Friends spun the story as “worse than Watergate.”

You’d think with having Donald with the power to declassify the alleged memo he’d be right on that.

I have never given much credence to the nefarious Russian interference in that last US presidential election.
QTOH, that Trump is wide open to money laundering charges for various oligarchs in many of the republics of the former soviet union as well as possible second dealings with groups such as the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps I find completely credible.
Mueller may be getting close to hitting the jackpot in his financial investigations and the Republicans are panicking. One wonders if a few senators or members of congress or some of their staffers might be feeling a hot breath on the back of the neck?
