Lofty says November 24, 2017 at 5:40 pm I guessed large gull at first but the partner’s Big Book of Birds suggested Grey Petrel based on the distinctive beak. Quite unusual on a suburban beach but this was on a very quiet stretch (until I came along and disturbed the dino).
