For me, it’s the colours, dazzling and drenched in sunlight, such a sight when everything here has gone cold and dim, shading to brown, with winter’s cracked talons firmly in the door.

My favourite is the first one. I love the play of light bubbles in the background and the bright contrasting colours. It’s so nice to see colour…so more please Giliell. Our autumn is just brown and grey this year. It’s been to warm for the trees to develop any colour and the forecast is for continued temps in the 20’s well into October.

Also, the fur looks very nice in that light.

Superb photos, thankyou.
Love the details visible on the bees there, all those little hairs caught and focused on so well.

Oh I LOVE that first photo… I mean, the others are great and all that, but holy cow that first one just really floats my boat.

Me, the third. I mean the bees are wonderful, but that shot of the wings…!!

My favourite is the third one too. The perspective of the wings plane and depth of field are just beautiful.
