   Goosebumps all over! This part in particular melted my heart into a puddle:

   At one point, Mr Bradley was sent to Scotland on a mission to defend the Forth Bridge. He met and fell in love with two other men. […] Mr Bowsher took it all in his stride, writing that he “understood why they fell in love with you. After all, so did I”.

   I’m really glad they could love one another, and I’m very glad those letters survived.

   I read Hollywood is interested in the letters for a movie, but as much of a tearjerker as it would be, it won’t make me cry as much as reading about those letters did.
