I know it is named “May Flowers” but I like the beetle in the first picture enormously. What a lovely greenish-black metalic sheen.

It was tiny, too -- the flower is about the size of my pinkie nail. I liked the red spot on its bum best, but you can barely see it from this angle. Like it had started to rust a bit from one end.
