Pain Poisons Everything.

Been having very high levels of pain lately, which also seeps out all over my attitude. Having to get up early to blog every day doesn’t help, because I’m a nocturnal sort. I don’t function well in the morning, and no matter how much sleep I get, it never feels enough because morning. So, outside of a couple scheduled things, Affinity will be slow starting Friday. All the regular stuff will show up, just later than normal, I’m giving my alarm clocks a day off.

May your time between the sheets be refreshing and sufficient!

For me, there’s certainly enough to catch up in the material posted in the last weeks.

@Lofty: LOL. As a goat herder, I can assure you that mornings are NOT for goat herders. And actually, if you do NOT get up at the crack of dawn, but instead feed and milk at a more civilized time like, say, 9 AM, your goats will give birth during the day instead of in the middle of the night. So note to all goat herders: stay in bed! Get up later! Much better.

Meanwhile yes Caine stay in bed longer, it is fine! I and the other *intelligent* goat herders will be good with a later start. :-)

Today we bought a new clock-radio.
The shut-the-fuck-up botton on the old one finally gave up.
    Sleep well, Caine.

Mother Nature sent me a wake-up call this morning via thunderstorm.

Enjoy as many sleep-ins as you need.

I am with you on the slow start in the morning. I wake up at 6:00 because I have to, but I am not functional before 12:00 and I usually give best performance between 16:00-20:00. So I start peaking at work just shortly before I leave home.

Thank you, you’re so sweet and kind.

Giliell, ugh, I hate weather headaches. Hope you have a chance to recover and recoup yourself.

Sounds like me. I’m usually feeling energized and ready to work around 21:00 to 23:00. This morning stuff sucks.

I will point out one really nice thing about not being a morning person and instead working all night long: you don’t generally have people coming over to see you and they do not normally call, after 10PM. Plus it’s generally cool and quiet, very peaceful and conducive to working. :-)

Self care does not need explanations or justifications. Be well Caine.

PS: We have a new puppy named Peppa. A lovable ball of hyperactive fluffy Shetland sheepdog. She sees to it that there in no sleeping in for us anymore. I don’t think the goats and sheep would be allowed to sleep in either. If we had any.

Oh gods, puppies. Yep, the original energy machines. Jayne, our half chow, half shepherd, will be 7 this November, and he still acts like he’s 7 months old. 120 lbs of over enthusiastic energy.
