According to Trump: Israel & Palestine Are Best Friends.

Donald Trump speaks at the White House (CNN/screen grab).

Can no one shut up this irrational wannabe tyrant? Someone needs to get a leash and a muzzle. Lock him in a bedroom with cable. Something. Just please, stop him from talking. Sweet Zombie Jesus, he might actually kill off most of the U.S. by sheer embarrassment. Mr. Art of the Deal (which he did not write) has a very bad case of feet in the mouth.

During a press conference with State of Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas, Trump praised Palestinian National Authority for its efforts to combat ISIS.

“I also applaud the Palestinian Authority’s continued cooperation with Israel,” Trump said. “They get along unbelievably well… They work together beautifully.”

The U.S. president noted that there could be “no lasting peace” unless all Palestinian leaders spoke out against hate.

“There’s such hatred,” he added. “But hopefully there won’t be such hatred for very long.”

Right, because Palestinians haven’t been speaking out against atrocities committed or the hatred and bile aimed at them every day, no. They’ve just been hanging out, all quiet like. Not enough eyeroll, not enough. Not in the whole universe.

Video at Raw Story.  Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, This. Unfuckingbelievable.

A sadistic part of me hopes that Trump does try to shove his way into the Israel-Palestine conflict.Seeing that idiot flail around trying to ‘fix’ one of the worst geopolitical clusterfucks on Earth would be delicious schadenfreude. It’d be bad for Netanyahu to, after cheerleading for this guy he’s gonna look like an idiot when Trump jams himself into the situation and makes a complete ass of himself like he always does.

Every issue is the same with our moron-in-chief. The solution is always “just do it” like everyone else on the planet just sits around all day with their thumbs up their butts and needs his brilliance to point out we should do something instead of nothing.

Well, he is an USAmerican manager and CEO after all.

I heard second hand account of this conversation in another plant of our company:
Technician: In order to reach that rate of production, we need additional molding machines….
Manager (american-trained): That would be too expensive. Why not jut put a 3D printer in there, or two.
Technician: 3D printers do not have the necessary speed and the parts would not have the needed physical properties. That technology is not there yet, we really need…
Manager: I do not care about technical details, just do it!

If I sound resentfull and disparaging towards “The American Way”, I am. US managers and their way of doing things is a plague on the world.

I don’t think you’d find many working Americans who would disagree.

Yeah, an “exchange” isn’t so one-sided. If the exchange rate wasn’t something like 3,000 dead palestinians for every dead israeli, then it wouldn’t look quite so much like a one-sided slaughter.

    @Marcus

Okay fine, I may or may not have lobbed friendship artillery at my peers from several kilometers away. But my peers were asking for rights and stuff. They deserved it because freedom.

My guess is he’ll start with his patented Civil War Resolution Strategy. He’ll ask them to just stop fighting and wonder why no one has suggested that before.

I’ll start the pool on when the “Who knew peace in the middle east could be so hard?” tweet will be.

Well, Palestine has tried to co-operate with Israel, only to be betrayed, vilified, lied about and to, shot at, bombed, silenced, imprisoned, denied essentials like medicine, food, building supplies and infrastructure. That is ‘getting along’ by Rethuglian definition isn’t it? At least, it’s how they govern.
