The duck wasn’t alone, sadly for the story line I was focussing mainly on the ibis and the corellas. Behind me was the pond which had disgorged a small army of wood ducks that was intent on checking out what the ibis and corellas were fussing over. At least one more shot needed to be taken, but if I had moved around they would probably all have scattered like autumn leaves.

Do the Ibis fly north for the winter, I wonder, or are they residents? The corellas are so cool!
Ice Swimmer says
The duck and the corellas seem to be more active in other things while the ibises just eat.
The second corella from the left in the last is my fave.
Giliell, professional cynic -Ilk- says
Poor duck. All alone with those strange birds
