The mildly deranged penguin says that whilst the rubber eyebrows appear to be neatly fried, it’s never going to smell like a frog’s moo until the asparagus’s legs are put in the chandler, albeit she’s not clear what should then be done with the ants, partly because she fell over giggling (and is now snoring), still holding the margarita bucket upright.

Gorgeous. I love the way you use colour. I hope it hasn’t set you too far back.

Beautiful! Looking very good! And those blues… Love ’em.
Thank you all. :) Well, every piece is always open to interpretation, whatever you see, that’s what it is.

Descent of Night? I like that. Made me think of this intro/outro (evening kids’ show from the late 80s, 90s -- I remember watching it when we visited wayback), also certain elements in this, which is loosely based on a poem about Fairy-Tale On My Doorstep (she rides along the roads on a small pale horse, rides and rides, without cease, but she has no home on this earth). Keep in mind the second is also a film for small children, very typical of the time -- competition for the weirdness of some old Disney movie songs (Pooh and Dumbo come immediately to mind). :)
There’s a short scene I recall from another similar style movie where Night descends as a constantly wandering woman whose vast cloak of starry sky embraces the world behind her. But I can’t for the life of me remember which film.
Anyway, all positive, sentimental associations -- thank you for that.

Interesting title. Mine was “whipping up the waves”, interpreting it as her blowing on water
