That’s a great surface to capture the photos on, the reflections and play of shadows are very atmospheric for the dark skinkfine minidragon. :)
I love lizard (and similar beastie) toes, they’re so differently proportioned.

Caught this one in the laundry with the help of an ice cream container. I had to lower the camera right into the container as this little “dragon” (very remote cousin of the Komodo Dragon) is barely 3 inches long. Love the attitude wrapped up in a body that could call a match box roomy. So smoooth and tiny and shiny, not scary at all.
Oh and dragon lizards are a real thing, like the ones pictured in this link.
