I have to explain the bad English, because I think it’s intentional due to this guy in this interview, whose amazing phrase ‘nothing special’ re: the economic crisis is legend.

While that interview did make me smirk (just a bit, I swear), he’s right, isn’t he? The only reason recessions end is so we can have another one, or at least that’s my impression of the global economy, such as it is.

Whether he’s right or wrong, given that the economic recession saw the greatest wave of emigration from this country since WWII, his attitude was deemed to be a trifle dismissive, if not outright incompetent (esp. in the language department -- he’d specifically refused the assistance of a translator for that interview).
