The walnut is like a snowy paw and the maple samara is reminiscent of a butterfly wing as the veins are so well visible.

Come visit! We’re hitting low minus teens today with a weekend of minus mid-twenties (Celsius, for whatever that’s worth). :)
But we have a sledding track, with safety rails.

Just saw the picture. That looks great! I’d love to be out in that playing like a little kid. I’m from a place where the entire city shut down for 3 days a couple of years ago because we got like three inches of snow.
Oh and that converts to -4 degrees F.
It was 53 F here yesterday (about 12 degrees C).
Yikes. Think I’ll just look at the pictures for now.
