It’s very quick -- one second a normal bird silhouette, then whoompf -- and they’re strutting around making that very loud but gentle cooing sound. “Gobble” is such a harsh word for that noise. And then they turn around and you see the much less impressive turkey backside, which sort of reminds me of when you make a costume very very quickly and the excess bits get tacked and taped together to the side that’s not going to be visible.
And then later you see giant turkey babies in the woods. I love having turkeys around.
