They are gorgeous and wonderful birds. It’s always interesting to see them here on a gray, basically colourless day, because then, they are almost all white.

Re cold weather:
Now that you mention it, the puffed-up feathers show that it’s cold and the bluejay looks like as if it wants to sink into the lumber for warmth.
