From Kengi. There are bonus bees, too! Click for full size. Oh, the Monarch reminds me, we saw a tiny milkweed plant on the side of the road on the way to the camp. Such a surprise, so far from water. It had exploded, and I saved some of the seeds. I need to get those planted. And that Monarch, how breathtakingly beautiful!

The monarch looks so “graphical” with the crisp “panels” joined with black in the wings.
Monarch butterflies are so gorgeous! They winter along the coast in California. My friends have a buddleia tree in their backyard that the butterflies love. I have seen dozens at a time visiting that tree, it’s breathtaking.
These are so beautiful. I was also impressed by the crispness of the monarch, and I love, love the warm bright colours in both photos!
I love monarchs.
They don’t live here, so I’m always glad to gawk at pictures.
I useta see Monarchs here in north central Florida -- but not for the last couple of years.
