They’re rechargeable, got the charger. DeWalt is good.

We had one for years that was awsome.
Just needed the occasional cleaning and lubing.
But what with international corporate conglomeracy,
someone stopped making the rechargeable battery packs.
Now it’s a doorstop.

I’ll wait for a sale on the 20Volt Li-Ion set. I assume you’ll want your own Drill Index, and set of Impact Bits.
Plus now I gotta get a 20Volt flashlight. I don’t think you’ve seen the 12Volt DeWalt flashlight. It uses the same battery, and is incredibly bright, puts my D-cell Maglites to shame. It’s in the toolbag. It has a Kick ass magnet, and swivels in 2 directions, so as long as there is steel around, you can get light exactly where you want it, hands free. Try it out!
I love my old Dewalt 12 volt XRP drills, they never were fashionable so cost very little second hand on ebay. 3 speed gear boxes and loads of grunt.
The nicad batteries are getting old but I’ve been lucky and found another one or two just before I had to ring the local battery repacker. Good cells are still available for them if I get desperate.

You need a bigger tunneling machine to dig yer way out of teh USAlientrum-pratiston. I know there’s one buried under the channel (the French recycled their tunneling machine, the British just left litter behind). The mildly deranged penguin took it on a joyride once, and had a lot of fun chasing some Viking longboats. However, even she is not so certain about the wisdom of building a tunnel to the other side. Besides, the cutting teeth are now clogged with Norsemess.

You just got a new whirly-spinning machine. Shouldn’t be too hard to set up a drive belt / chain / cable / rubberband to whatever it is you to twirl.

Just make sure you get a brand will continue to make the battery packs.
