That’s actually a pair of Gay Gestapo helicopters from the UN’s Black Ops in a rare daylight flight over some unidentified forest / jungle / meadow / plain / grasshopper-factory, probably practicing carrying sacks of xians to the FEMA camps. You can tell by the lack of identifying marks, albeit in typical goobermint incompetence, they give the game away by painting the rotor blades pink.

This is a good pink. The buds are a beautiful burgundy. Actually, if I ever get around to processing my photos, I have more pink -- prairie roses. I have not processed my photos though, so I’m grateful to D. Gregory for this one!

I like these kind of relatively simple flowers, five open petals of beauty. Even with the white details on the petals, the beauty comes from the simplicity. Of course, there are other ways a flower can look great.

I agree with Giliell and Caine, this works.

Yes, but the overall shape and feel is simple and while the pattern is intricate, it isn’t loud or stuffy. The complexity is subtle. 8-)
