Ginger White, the former fitness instructor and single mother of two, spoke on Good Morning America this morning and she sounded damn credible to me:
(NYDailyNews) — The Georgia woman who is accusing the Republican presidential candidate of cheating on his wife, gave her first live television interview on Wednesday, in which she described how Cain flew her across the country and showered her with gifts during their “very casual affair.” But when asked by ABC’s George Stephanopolous if the former Godfather CEO would be a good President, the 46-year-old single mother of two told the “Good Morning America” host, “No I do not …”
Neither do I Ginger, neither do I.
This would be fair game for any candidate in this day and age, despite the sudden interest in maintaining a firewall between personal private lives and public office now gaining great popularity on the right. The thing that makes it relevant, and oh so delicious, is Cain’s website has a big banner up — or at least it did — proclaiming his undying defense of marriage against the evil leftist forces bent on destroying it. The off-the-chart irony is now that Cain is sinking like a stone on Jupiter, the torch defending the sacred bond of holy matrimony will be passed to none other than serial cheater Newt Gingrich.
Speaking of which, maybe Cain needs to follow in Newt’s footsteps, get born-again, again, and decree that if Jesus can forgive him for secretly porking his mistress while lashing and bashing the institution of marriage as practiced outside the confines of his narrow mind, everyone else should too. Oh, and vote for him to be president. Jesus would!

Which will end the nanosecond a democrat gets involved in a sex scandal.
I actually think it’s a shame Hermain Cain is sinking like a stone over a sex scandal. I’d rather it’d be because of his completely inability to articulate anything more complicated than repeating the number nine three times.

It makes a certain amount of sense. For inexplicable reasons, Republicans think Newt is smart. So given that the Cain supporters have already blown through Bachmann and Perry, if the only reason that they hadn’t gone to Newt was Newt’s cheating, well now that Cain is a cheater too … Bet we liberals blamed for this too.
