This is not a great revelation for anyone, but making things, to say nothing of growing things, is an act of believing in a better future. In this case, it’s a better future, by definition, since it includes cilantro and holy basil.
I think this one is actually pretty good.

A few years ago, I played an audiobook version of LeGuin’s The Wave of The Mind [wc] – basically, short essays on writing and thinking about writing – and, as usual, I was impressed by her clarity and thoughtfulness.
