It appears that someone in the spamming industry has a sense of the ridiculous. I’m not going to give them my clicks, but I assume this is an invitation to a drive-by malware download, or a mental bait and switch.
This is most likely spurred by Jimmy Kimmel’s recent praise for Trumpcare [yt1] [yt2] [yt3]. Yes, he really did just call the ACA Trumpcare to see if it made a difference to some people, and yes, it really did make a difference to some people. Not sure how many bought it, but the number is >0.
His angle here seems to be that he wants people to sign up to health care for their own safety, even if it means pretenting to give Trump undeserved credit. t’s just fucking tragic that some fraction of the conservatives actually needed to be tricked into doing something in their own interests thanks to their mindless hatred of all things Obama.

They’re presumably following Jimmy Kimmel. This is now a post-ridiculous America.
I guess I just gave away the fact that I don’t watch much television.
What that came into my spam filters, I was staring at it going “Whaaaaaa?” for a while. It was hard to see where the stupid was coming from.

I got that ad yesterday. I decided not to enroll as I have that horrible coverage from the Ontario Health Insurance Plan.
I don’t know about other doctor’s offices but in mine you have to be careful. There seem to be nurses lurking everywhere wielding needles to make sure your inoculations are up to date. I went in last year for a flu shot and exited with shots in both arms!

Good for you!
I travel a lot and keeping my innoculations up to date is really inportant. Airports are great big swap-meets for things I don’t want.

Yeah but what about the nasties you can’t inoculate against? I’ve just come down with a cold, first one in years, after a flight. I’m seriously considering a full bio-hazard suit next time I fly.

I’ve been getting ‘Trumpcare’ spam since at least the last major failure to repeal the ACA, however many months ago that was. I’ve been getting plenty of spam spouting ‘Trump is changing healthcare’ all year long.
