Donald Trump is appalled that new congresswoman Rashid Tlaib referred to him as a ‘motherfucker’ and his puppy House minority leader Kevin McCarthy joined in clutching his pearls.
House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy expressed his anger with Tlaib’s comment Friday, saying, “That action should not stand. Somebody should stand up to her.”
The president also weighed in at a Rose Garden appearance, saying Tlaib “dishonored herself” with the “disgraceful” remark.

But the ultimate authority on the use of the word has given his approval to Tlaib. Actor Samuel L. Jackson, who has used that word 171 times in 29 films, tweeted:
“I just wanna Wholeheartedly endorse your use of & clarity of purpose when declaring your (expletive) goal last week,” Jackson wrote. “Calling that (expletive) a (expletive) is not an issue, calling that (expletive) President Is!!!”
Well said.
What a bunch of snowflakes these guys who talk tough always turn out to be.

They’re not snowflakes, they’re hypocrites, and they got an apology out of Rashida Tlaib by attacking her for what Trump himself does. Upbraid Trump for the same and I think he’d laugh at you for being too weak to take it, and be applauded by his base and Fox News for showing strength when attacked.
She shouldn’t have apologized, in my opinion. She should have said it was barroom talk.

The Crown Prince of Motherfucker has spoken.

efogoto @#1,
She did not apologize for calling Trump that or using that language. She only apologized for causing a distraction.

President “Grab them by the pussy” is apparently going to take over for Miss Manners during the shutdown.

@3 Mano,
They got an apology around something that needed none. I know she said “And that’s the only thing I will apologize for, is that it was a distraction,” but should AOC apologize because a video of her was used as a distraction? No. She danced in the halls of congress in response. The hell with the faux shock over “motherfucker”. The Republicans have done far worse, even in the same vein, and saying so should have been the response.

Telling Trump and every other peice of shit getting the vapors to “shove it up their ass” would be more polite than they deserve.
WMDKitty -- Survivor says
Trump isn’t allowed to be offended over language, given all the nastiness that has poured (and still flows) from his mouth.
sonofrojblake says
Her notpology should have referred the President to the answer given in the case of Arkell vs. Pressdram.

My favorite response was that it was women’s locker-room talk.

I have a fairly standard response when people call me on things like that (usually when it’s a mild rebuke by friends suggesting the language is not worth the trouble). I just give them my best fake wide-eyed innocent look and say “What? It’s descriptive!” This doesn’t work as well with this expletive as it does with insults that don’t imply involvement with other people but it’s great for when you get creative.
Tabby Lavalamp says
This is the rare instance when a notpology is the correct response, and Rep. Tlaib’s notpology was perfect.
