Lincoln Chafee has announced that he will follow Jim Webb and drop out of the race for the Democratic nomination. His poll and fund-raising numbers were low and his debate performance did nothing to improve his chances, especially since the pundits were ruthless in the way they ridiculed him.
If you observe news personalities like Wolf Blitzer interview people who are powerful, they are very deferential, obsequious even. But watch them interview someone who has little or no power and they become aggressive, condescending, rude, and contemptuous. It is a disgusting trait. Kicking the weak when they are down is worse than sucking up to the powerful.
The Daily Show lets Blitzer have it for his brutal and bullying treatment of Lincoln Chafee. Chafee seems like a decent person and does not deserve to be treated with contempt by a hack like Blitzer.

With all his gaffe, he is the one rallying trying to have a debate with warmonger clinton in the last debate, while no one has any courage to show the hypocrisy of clinton, including bernie who was busy spending time defending her.
Blitzer is the same clown who made a fool of himself while interviewing a woman (who happened to be an atheist) after a tornado in Oklahoma.
