I quite enjoyed that. God save our self-proclaimed monarchs and sovereigns, invested with the power of the Almighty (which has always seemed to coincide with the intent to butcher all who disagreed) to rule over His loving and loyal vassals.
I don’t know what we’d have done without them. Probably live in peace, or something.

So observant and so true. I’m into my 60s now and the brave new cyber-world that I’m trying to keep up with doesn’t fill me with much joy.
