Ouch!

Famously thin-skinned Sarah Palin gets a lot of flak from liberals and Democrats about which she whines incessantly.

But getting dissed by Ann Coulter and having it implied that she is a self-promoting charlatan has got to really hurt since they are both conservative flame throwers and presumably cheering for the same team.

Ball is in your court Sarah.

… having it implied that she is a self-promoting charlatan …

I guess it takes one to know one.

I saw Game Change Friday night and it paints Mrs. Palin somewhat sympathetically for the first 90-100 minutes. Then it looks like she gets really full of herself after the Biden debate and starts being very domineering to everyone around her.

While she mentions Coulter by name, her comments would cover a number of others as well, such as Mike Huckabee.

Given my love of the surreal and seriously strange I think Sarah Palin running for president would be great. Off the top the only thing that might make it better would be if they could Tina Fey as the VP and both committed to wear the same outfits and never reveal which one is which. That would be so over the top.

Out political system is so broken and absurd that at some point all you can do is laugh. Palin and Fey running would just be highlighting the obvious.

    Coulter saying:
“And just a more corporate problem is I think our party and particularly our movement, the conservative movement, does have more of a problem with con men and charlatans than the Democratic Party,”

That is somewhere between explosively ironic and profoundly surreal. Which tell me that he situation really wants to roll in that direction. Palin running, with or without Fey, might just be the sort of push that might start it rolling … right off the edge and out of sight.

I think Coulter is admitting she is in the charlatan category. She appears regularly on Faux News and writes books. But she is better than Palin because she is not seeking political office.

Wow. Surprise of the day. Ann Coulter says something that’s not vile or idiotic. She’s still nothing more than a charlatan herself, so perhaps she just recognizes character traits she shares with Sarah Palin.
