Alex Jones has, by default, lost two lawsuits that accuse him of being responsible for the abuse the parents of children murdered in the Sandy Hook shooting received. You may recall that he claimed none of the children were killed, that their parents were “crisis actors” trying to profit off the story, and that the whole tragedy was a “false flag” operation to kill the second amendment (which I hope does get killed someday).
Alex Jones, the conspiracy theorist who hosts the right-wing commentary website Infowars, was found legally responsible in two lawsuits for damages caused by his claims surrounding the 2012 Sandy Hook school mass shooting, according to court documents released Thursday.
Judge Maya Guerra Gamble issued default judgments on Monday against Jones and his outlet for not complying with court orders to provide information for the lawsuits brought against him by the parents of two children killed in the shooting.
The rulings, which were first reported by the Huffington Post, effectively mean that Jones lost the cases by default. A jury will convene to ascertain how much he will owe the plaintiffs, the report said.
Oh, boy, I eagerly await news of the penalties. I hope they’re substantial enough to shut down Infowars for good.
ESAD, evil fraud.

Having watched AJ in action, he could scrape up the needed amount working at a sideshow. A more malign, vulgar version of you-know-who from The Simpsons.

A second after posting @1 I had an epiphany: AJ is the schmuck Trump would have been without a rich dad.
A grifter without empathy.

It’s appalling he didn’t even show up to court. I mean he has no defense to make, but it just adds insult. The fucker just shat in the corner, ruining people’s lives and then walks away. When they called after him to say ‘hey, wait a sec’ he just kept walking…. Because AJ is the absolute biggest bastard I can imagine. Fuck that guy. He is on the list of people I intend to piss on their grave one day.

Going off on a tangent again:
Misogyny.
A British cop murdered a young woman. Now it turns out his colleuages made lots of online comments that were outrageous.
I am not accusing them too of rape and murder, but it is unsurprising the pervo in their midst never triggered any red flags in the context of that group.
raven says
Was this part of his legal strategy, to not show up in court?
Or did he just not care enough.
I’m wondering what his lawyers advised him to do.
You know a bottom feeding clown like Alex Jones has lots of lawyers and needs them often.

@2 Talking of the snatch snatcher ,is it true a lot of his supporters want to break away from the Union and have their own country to play in?
@4 Yeah ,his nickname among the chaps was The Rapist .
Now the advice from the police is if a man in plain clothes claims to be a policeman ,flag down a bus .

Specifically, the cop was Wayne Couzens, and the murdered woman was Sarah Everard
Then the London police violently broke up a vigil commemorating her murder, claiming that people were violating COVID-19 protocols. The irony is that Couzens kidnapped Everard by falsly arresting her for violating COVID-19 protocols. So, although the UK government doesn’t take COVID-19 all that seriously, they are willing to use it as a pretext for abusing women.

You know he’s just going to declare bankruptcy? I guarantee the corrupt prick has money stashed where they can’t touch it. They all do.

Oh, definitely. Jones isn’t going to damaged much by this and his slimeball followers will take the ruling as PROOF he’s right and the (((globalists))) are out to get him.
The only way he’s going to see justice is if our government realizes “free speech” was a mistake and drag him off to be never be seen again.

There is a real lack of homicidal left-wing terrorists or this fucker wouldn’t be alive today.
At some point we need to realize this is in reality a civil war. The enemy has organized (by chance or design) into a three-headed monster with a political and a social movement shadowed by a fringe militant group of loner assassins. And for some reason they get to claim no responsibility for each others because they say so.

raven @5: IIRC, he’s on his seventh legal team. Going through that many lawyers usually means that you’re being a total dumbass and they don’t want to be associated with you. So it’s quite plausibly deliberate.

Wow, a lot of things are happening.
Britney Spears is free, and the progressives in congress just stopped the centrists from surrendering to the republicans and Dinos.
And when push comes to show, most people will take the vaccine rather than lose the job.
As for Alex Jones, I hope the judge and jury get totally pissed off and nuke him.

Did you see Jones on TV opposite Piers Morgan ? Jones comes off as some foaming-at-the-mouth whacko. According to reliable sources, it is an accurate picture of him. But perhaps he is like Glenn Beck. Lucid and rational except when in front of a camera. Well, you can be incredibly wrong about every issue and still be lucid and rational, can’t you ? Jones will probably attempt to declare bankruptcy to get out from under the debt incurred by losing. But it’s worth keeping an eye on. I love seeing this Vacuum-head twisting in the wind.

There is significance to this ruling. Finally, one of these bastards couldn’t simply wait it out. AJ is from the Leona Helmsley school of “laws are only for the little people.” AJ figured if he just lay low, refused to respond, however long it took, the plaintiffs would eventually tire, give up in disgust or run out of funds. It must be a huge shock to this grifter that the hammer is finally down. Still, I won’t be satisfied until AJ is ruined down to the point of opening up a dinosaur ministry in Alabama!
Meanwhile, also in Texas, Attorney General Ken Paxton is entering his SIXTH year of avoiding trial for securities fraud while also under investigation by the FBI for bribery and abuse of power. The guy is a full blown sociopath is not a psychopath. Zero shame, zero empathy, zero morals, zero ethics. But he knows that the law can’t touch him. His legal fees are being paid for by donors.

Unfortunately the procedural outcomes set-ups Jones for a nice grift: “the globalist cucks didn’t even give me my day in court! send money for the legal fees! gay frogs!”

Other medicines in preliminary use require IV or infections.

Jones can go bankrupt and then start grifting again the day after the bankruptcy deal closes. It’ll hurt him somewhat, he’ll lose much of what he has, but even if he doesn’t have overseas money stashed he can rebuild easily.
