I found an arachnid of the tick kind on Jake today, and am not feeling well disposed towards arachnids in general as a result, but one that stays decently in it’s home cave is fine by me, even today.
I love the last photo, the focus and depth of field are perfect. I wouldn’t put my hand in there…
Uh, because I wouldn’t want to scare the poor spider, of course. Not that I have an irrational gut reaction to those legs, oh no. Not at all. ;-)
