The flowers and the wing markings harmonize well together.
Such astonishingly beautiful little dinosaurs. A fabulous photo, too. The composition is wonderful, and so are the captured expressions.

Thank you all! Goldfinches love French Marigold seeds which is very fortunate because they go so well together. This was from last year, but this year’s French Marigolds are already growing and beginning to blossom, right next to the Zinnias (another goldfinch favourite), so it’s all set!
