I don’t even so much as dare dream about tulips yet. It’s going to be an agonizingly long time until they show up here. We had a whole lot more snow the other day, we’re buried and very cold again. Not even any sun for the last three days.
Just checked the two beds with tulips on the north and south side of the house. The south side bed is showing green leaves pushing through the dead leaves from fall, but not the north side bed. Spring is on the way.
In a weird weather moment, Caine’s snowstorm went SW of Chicago, and is now into central Indiana. Nary a flake of snow in my area north of Chicago.
Good for you, missing the snow! Wow, you have tulip leaves already.
That feels like summer light, but the snow and the ice tell a different story. In one word, spring.
Hey, I have one tulip blooming already (and five other with leaves)! I took some photos of it today, they didn’t turn out that good because of the wind but I will try to select one to send you :)
Oh, jealous! By the time tulips pop here, everyone else’s will be over. I have the feeling we might be missing out on Spring again.
