Why is the United States Post Office, which is losing many billions of dollars a year, while charging Amazon and others so little to deliver their packages, making Amazon richer and the Post Office dumber and poorer? Should be charging MUCH MORE!

Fucking Idiot: “Why is the United States Post Office, which is losing many billions of dollars a year, while charging Amazon and others so little to deliver their packages, making Amazon richer and the Post Office dumber and poorer?” Trump asked on Twitter. “Should be charging MUCH MORE!”
The Idiot King is nattering on again, about post offices. Naturally, this had to do with something he saw on Fox News, but it had absolutely nothing to do with the actual ‘news’ segment. I’ll admit to being taken by surprise here, who in the fuckety fuck does not know how the postal system works? The stupid is eating us alive.

I’d suggest telling Donald how the PO works but its above his mental paygrade.

Granted I’m no fan of Amazon*, but surely the phrase “bulk discount” or similar is applicable here?
*Disclaimer: I own a Kindle, but twas second-hand (I needed an e-reader, and it was all I could find 2nd-hand within my budget and in reasonable condition), so they made no money on the deal.

I guess step one would be to explain that it’s not the post office which makes Amazon richer, it’s people buying stuff through them who do that. You’d think Mr. Art of the Deal would know that one. Right now, I’ll admit to being curious as to just who he thinks “owns” the post office.

Christ, he’s such an embarrassment. Whatever he happens to see on FOX News or on his favorite white nationalist twitter feed, he starts typing away about with his slimey little hands.

Come to think of it, I’d have thought he would be against such a pinko-commeenistic thing as a publicly owned postal service.
Ho hum.

Oh yes, and that’s the understatement of the century.

I love the postal service, even with all attendant quirks and problems. Key word: service. And I appreciate every bit of it.
