I must admit, when I was reading the previous post and saw the title link for this one, my first thought was a request to the asshole republicans: “Ram it! Sideways!”
That green is a tease, can’t wait for more of it to show up as your (wonderful!) work progresses. Right now it’s a tickle to the eye against the warm browns, golds and russets of the trunk. Like spring!
I really want to get back to the foliage, but there’s just a bit of trunk and branch left. Then foliage. That will be interesting, because I’ll have to do it upside down, who knows what the fuck it will look like in the end!
