This piece of America is intelligent enough to read actual news, not shitshows like Fox, is capable of doing basic fact checking, is not afraid of words or the reading of them, and can judge shite filled tweets when seen.
It’s amazing, really, just how easy it is to get Donny unglued. I hope people all over take a clue from the scathing Twitterati, and show up in masses at his planned ‘campaign rallies’, and let fly with the questions and mockery. That might result in getting his ass out of office, something the democrats won’t even try to do until fucking 2019. What the hell is the point? He needs out now. Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of mockery!

I’m still not convinced president Pence is a better option. Sure, less chance of nuclear annihilation due to a poorly timed insult on Twitter, but the damage a competent theocratic dominionist could do backed by a Republican Congress has V for Vendetta levels of potential. And the risk of nuclear war may still be there with a president that thinks they need to trigger the second coming with Armageddon, or start throwing nukes at Iran to “protect” Israel, despite Russia’s backing of Iran.
And President Cruz? A genuine Seven Mountains dominionist? That may be even worse. It’s looking like a real Kobayashi Maru level of no-win situation here. The best solution I see to to try to contain Trump as best as possible, using his incompetence, and play for time. Then we need a progressive party to come in and clean up starting in the midterms. I just wish the Democrats were progressive once again. Fixing the Democrats before the next election cycle is the real problem. Otherwise they are going to fuck it up and leave the Republicans in charge.
Anymore, I see all that as a weak, terribly wrong rationalizations to keep Trump in power. It’s blind, and it’s stupid. Trump has already done everything Pence would do, or has started on doing everything, in regard to religious shit, because Trump kisses the Religious Reich’s arse, and gives them whatever they want. He’s already removed protections from LGBT peoples, he reinstituted the gag order, yadda, yadda, yadda. The whole nonsense of “Pence would be worse” is flat out wrong. Pence wouldn’t be any different from Bush Jr., who was also a theocrat nightmare, who spread federal monies to ‘faith based’ this that and the other, and set abstinence only sex ad as a national standard. We’ve been through theocrats before.
Cruz would be a nightmare, yes, but that’s not relevant. As for the fucking democrats, they are not going to do one damn thing. The very soonest they would move to impeach would be fucking 2019, and what’s the point then, when the term is almost up? Fuck the democrats, they are absolutely fucking useless.
Trump needs to be ousted, now. The fact that so many people are finding justifications for not doing that shows just how quickly and how far the poison of normalisation has spread. No. I won’t bow down, and I won’t cave.
Thinking Pence can step in, should the Tweeting Cheeto be removed, might just prove unrealistic… I believe that he too is tangled up in the Russia thing which (eventually, I know) might make a real difference, and bring a bunch of these guys down.
Maybe we could get the aliens to bring the mother ship in over the white house, like in Independence Day. Or maybe a giant sinkhole will open up and swallow Mar-a-Lago while everyone “important” (wink wink) is inside. At this point, I feel that those options are more realistic than anyone actually moving on any of the many actionable offenses so far committed. Unfortunately.
Well yes, that’s the big part of the whole “what about Pence” argument that people love to ignore -- he’s up to his neck in the Russia business, too. If anyone gave an actual shit about it all, and moved to prosecute, Pence would be gone, too.
