The mildly deranged penguin postulates you literally make a bag or pouch with the coloured bits on the inside, place the rats into the bag (telling them it’s a new model of bird puppet), and tie the bag shut — “tying in” with the colours. Presumably then wait until rat pee or forty-foot killers leak out, swish around a bit, and untie to let any remaining rattieins out. Bake at 200℃ for a hour, and serve with a vin rouge.
