From Lofty:
1. East Parklands with My Little Mountain (Mt Lofty) in the background. 2. A mulched avenue, once a carriage drive. 3. Ibis looking for grubs. 4. Black swans making their escape from the horrible human. 5. Goodman Building, HQ of the Botanic Gardens. 6. Moreton Bay Figs outside the Botanic Gardens entrance. 7. River Gums drinking at a small creek. 8. Pedal Prix cars practicing in the East Parklands.

Love the running dog in the first picture, too.
The second has something haunting about it, very pretty.

rq, two dogs, although the little one on the right is doing more of a waddle. The eeriness of the second pic is in bold contrast to the evergreen trees and verdant grass surrounding the avenue. It’s a visual shock after the liveliness of the rest of the park.

1. I wasn’t sure if it was a dog or a horse (when looking at the zoomed down pic). Too small to be a moose 8-).
The beak of the ibis is of considerable size.
Love the tree roots in 6. and 7.. The “family tree” roots in 6. look so magnificient. In 7. ents drink with their toes.
I’d like to try a velomobile like the ones in 8. one day. In Finland they are quite rare even though we have a specific word for them: kinneri.
