Work, work, work… The entire purpose of human civilization is so I can eat sunflower seeds without having to take them out of the shell myself.
Ah! This might explain the fetish here with stuffing rats into puppets and nailing them to perches in weird situations: It is, perhaps, to make the sunflower seeds laugh so hard then deshell themselves. Novel, but the mildly deranged penguin says the traditional method of polishing butterfly’s teeth with eels is not only less stressful on the puppets, the sunflower seeds find it so hilarious they self-deshell with such force they are flung through the air. Choose the right spot, lay back, open beak, and the freshly deshelled seeds basically just jump in…
