Jon Stewart lays down one of his righteous rants, saying that the big pivoting challenge is not how Donald Trump switches to a more centrist approach (he won’t) but how the right wing media that vilified Barack Obama with all manner of false descriptions now deals with the fact that Trump actually fits those descriptions.
Oh, yes. Thank you for posting that.
I see Stewart still enjoys the occasional game of Hannityball.
I’ve always said that we need a good word for the elaborate dance that conservative news media go through as they try to navigate from hating on Trump to becoming his loyal followers. The word I recommend is the “Foxtrot.”
There’s an old word for nonsense: “trumpery”. We could bring that back.
The difference between Trump and Obama is as clearly black and white.
