Stephen Colbert discussed Cruz’s tepid support from his congressional colleagues.
lorn says
On one side I think Cruz doesn’t know NY, particularly if you contemplate how most people think about NY as being NYC. What is not to like about millions of people getting along, being productive, moving culture and technology forward and leading the world.
On the other hand I suspect that Cruz may do better in NY than many give him credit. While he might not do well in NYC he might get a surprising amount of traction in rural counties in NY state.
I don’t know how the primary is structured in NY and NYC but I suspect that, true to form for Republicans, that low-population districts with a lot of low-information voters are over represented. It will depend of which side of the party of cloven hooves wins the media war.
The one thing that seems sure is that Cruz will declare victory, either way.
